Ford Bronco
Built Wild
Ford challenged Disney to launch the Ford Bronco ‘back into the wild’ after a 24-year hiatus, authentically featuring the Bronco within the content. Disney CreativeWorks created the BUILT WILD short film series, in collaboration with Academy Award-winning filmmaker and adventurer Jimmy Chin, and featuring Chin, champion climber Brook Raboutou and platinum-selling music artist Kip Moore. The films became a major media moment, broadcast on July 13th, 2020 as a ‘roadblock’ premiere across ABC, ESPN and National Geographic, and debuting the Bronco in the first 8pm ad break. The films also streamed from Hulu, YouTube, Facebook and Ford.com, and had an in-show integration and feature presentation on Good Morning America the next day. The Bronco’s debut won over so many hearts that online reservations for both the two and four-door versions sold out in mere hours after its release.
