The Last Dance was one of ESPN's most highly anticipated documentaries ever, so we created a campaign where SportsCenter anchors started looking forward to its release all the way back in 1998. We doctored 90s footage of Kenny Mayne, Keith Olbermann and Linda Cohn and had them predict and look forward to it's release twenty years before it was made, while predicting a few other fun things about the future too.

To commemorate the launch of the highly anticipated documentary, “The Captain,” an unforgettable exploration into the life and baseball career of Derek Jeter, ESPN, American Family Insurance and Art Class Content joined forces to create our own must-see campaign “Grati2ude”.  By transporting Derek back in time to some of the most defining moments of his life, the Yankees legend was able to step back up to the plate one more time to share his sincerest appreciation with those who inspired his journey from little kid growing up in Kalamazoo to baseball icon and first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Ford challenged Disney to launch the Ford Bronco ‘back into the wild’ after a 24-year hiatus, authentically featuring the Bronco within the content.  Disney CreativeWorks created the BUILT WILD short film series, in collaboration with Academy Award-winning filmmaker and adventurer Jimmy Chin, and featuring Chin, champion climber Brook Raboutou and platinum-selling music artist Kip Moore.  The films became a major media moment, broadcast on July 13th, 2020 as a  ‘roadblock’ premiere across ABC, ESPN and National Geographic, and debuting the Bronco in the first 8pm ad break. The films also streamed from Hulu, YouTube, Facebook and Ford.com, and had an in-show integration and feature presentation on Good Morning America the next day. The Bronco’s debut won over so many hearts that online reservations for both the two and four-door versions sold out in mere hours after its release.

Building off of the success of last season’s partnership, Cheez-It and ESPN CreativeWorks teamed up to bring fans Who’s in My Belly?, a college football and Cheez-It-centric band consisting of Jason Fitz (previously a member of the chart-topping country music group The Band Perry, a Grammy-nominated artist and acclaimed multi-instrument musician and Julliard alum) and Mike Golic Jr. (one of our premiere digital college football talents). CreativeWorks collaborated with Golic Jr. and Fitz to create original music videos and album artwork. The music videos serve as ad pre-roll ahead of the *Rankings Reaction* Digital Live show they host which airs across ESPN digital and social channels. We will also see Who’s in My Belly? integrated in content time of the show. As Golic Jr. and Fitz provide analysis of the weekly release of the CFP Rankings they’ll do so in an environment featuring branded décor inspired by the campaign. The studio will also be stocked with their favorite Cheez-It products for snacking throughout. All show graphics were developed by ESPN CreativeWorks including feature animations for their weekly Cheez-It Crunch Time segments which run in *Rankings Reaction* and weekly in college football games, creating a full 360 program across all of ESPN’s platforms.

YouTube TV tips off its 3rd year as presenting partner of The NBA Finals. The multiyear partnership also includes YouTube TV as the presenting partner of The Finals for the WNBA and the NBA G League. Throughout the partnership “The Finals presented by YouTube TV” has been featured prominently during all Finals games including on the court and in-arena. In addition, YouTube TV has also been featured in ABC commercial spots and in-game branded integrations complemented by a major presence across the NBA’s digital and social media assets. Three brand new innovative sponsorship executions were created to air throughout each game’s broadcast. The YouTube TV User Interface was showcased by putting the viewer in “the user’s chair” simulating a navigation path to access the game. This new UX delivers the most impactful and dynamic moments, with the YouTube TV User Interface serving as the containers for each replay, building on the earlier “Try It Free Throws” success.

College football is here and since fans aren't able to attend games like they normally would, Dos Equis is bringing game day to them. At least the parts of game day that have to do with beer. In these spots we see college football experts Chris Fowler and Maria Taylor hosting their own 'home-gate' when Dos Equis shows up with a stadium concession stand (with a twist) and a cooler that keeps them close to beer and socially distant from people.

Everyone across the sports world, from passionate fans to superstar athletes, is feeling the huge void without live sports. In an effort to provide an outlet for them to share their personal stories – including what they miss most and what their hopes are for the future – ESPN launched a new campaign around #DearSports to bring the community together into the larger conversation and asks: “If you could talk to sports, what would you say?”

The initiative kicked off on Twitter from the @espn account with a tweet encouraging fans to use the hashtag and share what they miss most about sports. ESPN is featuring the videos across TV, audio and digital platforms within relevant programming and markets. In this four-part campaign, the adventure unfolded with spots running on ESPN and ABC Networks during the NBA Finals. Fans had the opportunity to see the story play out on-air, as well as online with complementary social commentary from talent.

He invites an intrigued Elle to visit his lawn via a portal he has installed in the studio. They walk through the portal and into Matt’s backyard where he shows off his adored lush lawn.
